Productivity

One of the first things I implement for every new client is a Morning Briefing Document. It sounds simple. The impact is consistently extraordinary.
The idea: every morning, before your day starts, you receive a single document in your inbox that contains everything you need to know and do that day. You read it once, in 5 minutes, and you're fully prepared.
Today's schedule, every meeting with time, location/link, attendees, and a one-line context note. Top three priorities for the day. Key emails or messages requiring your attention, summarised. Any decisions needed from you. Relevant news or updates about people you're meeting. One logistical note (travel, parking, anything practical).
Most executives start their day reactively, opening email, responding to Slack, responding to whatever came in overnight. The Morning Brief creates a proactive start. You begin the day knowing exactly what matters, rather than discovering it as you go.
The briefing should be prepared by your Executive Assistant and delivered 30 minutes before your working day begins. It should take no more than 5 minutes to read. It should replace, not add to, your morning inbox check.
Within two weeks of implementing this system, clients consistently report feeling more in control, more focused, and less reactive. It's the highest-leverage single change I make in most engagements.
